2010 Ford Mustang Logo Revamping

Ford will replace the existing Mustang logo, above, with its new logo, top, for the 2010 model year.

Some might say Ford's latest press release is a lame attempt to keep the Mustang in the news as Chevrolet's new Camaro moves closer to launch and Dodge's Challenger wins acclaim from enthusiast magazines.

Ford won't show the 2010 Mustang, due next spring, until later this year. But Ford is showing the new Mustang's lightly revamped pony logo.

Ford says the new badge is more chiseled and is "faster looking." Here's a photo of the new one, top, and the old logo, bottom. You decide.
