Mercedes-Benz E320 Bluetec Sedan met the world at this week, then Mercedes-Benz becomes the first manufacturer to offer a diesel-powered car that meets with stringent emission limits of California – and other federal states – with a compression-ignition engine.
The breakthrough BLUETEC® clean diesel technology in the Mercedes-Benz E320 BLUETEC Sedan — winner of the 2007 World Green Car award — blends fuel efficiency and low noise to rival a hybrid without sacrificing power, while significantly reducing the soot and pollutants often associated with diesel engines via specialized filters and catalytic converters.
The MSRP of the Mercedes-Benz 2008 E320 BLUETEC Sedan is MSRP$52,675. MSRP includes $775 transportation and handling charge and excludes all taxes, title/documentary fees, registration, tags, Mercedes-Benz Dealer prep, labor and installation charges, insurance, optional equipment and accessories, certificate of compliance or non-compliance fees, and finance charges.
